The road was built in memory of the fallen soldiers in 1930, it crosses many of the most magnificent sceneries in Australia. One of the best parts is the section in Port Cambell National Park where you can view some of the major rock formations and the famous Twelve Apostles.\u00a0From the road you will find many walks to enjoy the surrounding countryside.<\/p>\n

It is advisable to allocate 2 days to do the route and make a few stops along the way. The best time to do it is in spring or autumn when nature is at its best.\u00a0For those of you who don’t drive, it is possible to do it by bus and even by helicopter!<\/p>\n
