Domaine de la Baume just opened its doors last June in an 18th century manor house once home of the expressionist painter Bernard Buffet.<\/p>\n

It is located in the picturesque village of Tourtour, in the Var region of Provence between the French Riviera and the Verdon Gorges<\/a><\/span>. Set on a 40 hectares ground with formal french gardens, an olive grove, waterfalls, ponds, tennis court, heated pool and fitness center. It offers 15 guest rooms, each one with its own unique design. The owner Jocelyne Sibuet kept an old design style for the interior spaces.<\/p>\n

Chef Fran\u00e7ois Martin will prepare delicious proven\u00e7al cuisine for you made with fresh vegetables, olive oil and honey from the property. The region is famous for its food and drinks so you won’t be disappointed! Cooking classes are also available for those wishing to bring some of the Proven\u00e7al flavors back home.<\/p>\n

The medieval village of Tourtour offers beautiful views of the region as it is located on top of a hill. Little art galleries and boutiques shall not be missed!<\/p>\n
