The Atlantic Road, Norway

What an amazing road trip for nature and driving lovers!

The Atlantic Road build in 1989 is an 8 kilometers long stretch of road between the two main populations centers in the county of More og Romsdal in Fjord Norway. The road starts 30 kilometers southwest of Kristiansund and ends 47 kilometers north of Molde.

This stretch of road is spectacular because it zigzags across low bridges and can become very dramatic under a storm! In calmer weather they say you can even spot whales and seals.

It has been awarded the status of National Tourist Route because of the architecture of the road, the bridges and the incredible coastline it passes through.
