Autoturistica is a car rental broker that offers the best prices thanks to the special rates negotiated with the main car rental companies such as Europcar, Enterprise and Hertz. Autoturistica is an independent company that works as an intermediary between its clients and the rental companies, offering quality customer service.
To contact Autoturistica, you can go to the CONTACT section, send an email to info@autoturistica.com or call 913 292 911. You can contact us from Monday to Friday (except holidays), from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time.
As an intermediary, Autoturistica does not have its own fleet or offices in the different destinations. In order to pick up your vehicle, you must go directly to the office of the rental company that was confirmed after making the reservation (e.g. Europcar, Enterprise, Hertz,…).
The essential items to present when renting a vehicle are: – A valid driving licence. In the case of non-EU citizens, an international driving licence will be required. – A valid identification document. – You must be over 21 years old and have had a driving licence for 2 years to rent a vehicle. – A valid credit card in the name of the contract holder.
Reservations are generally confirmed between 24 and 72 hours after the reservation request. If you have not received confirmation of your reservation within this time period, please contact us via email at info@autoturistica.com or by phone.
The rental payment must be made at least one week before the start of the rental (prepaid rate). Once the reservation is confirmed, we will send you a secure payment link by email ten days before the start of the rental. Alternatively, you can request to make the payment by bank transfer.
In the case of picking up the vehicle at the airport, we ask for the flight number to be included in the rental company’s system. This way, the flight and, therefore, the arrival of the clients at the office can be monitored. This ensures that the office waits for you beyond the established pick-up time, always respecting its usual office hours.
Yes, it is essential to pay a deposit to cover any additional costs. The deposit is usually blocked on the credit or debit card and is unblocked once you return the vehicle in the same condition as when it was delivered to you. The amount of the deposit may vary depending on the supplier and the type of vehicle selected. For mid-range and low-end vehicles, the amount of the deposit usually ranges between €100 and €200. For high-end cars, it can reach €400.
Damage to or loss of the rental vehicle: -CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) refers to damage to the rental vehicle. -TW (Theft Waiver) refers to theft or loss of the rental vehicle. -LDW (Loss and Damage Waiver) is a combination of damage and theft coverage. Unless Autoturistica can recover the amount corresponding to the repair of damage caused by an identified Third Party, the renter/driver is responsible for the total cost of damage caused or loss of the vehicle during the rental period. This liability can usually be eliminated by paying a fixed amount for each day of rental. However, it should be noted that, for customers who have contracted such protection, a residual amount (or “”excess””) is applicable in the event of damage or loss of the vehicle. In some countries, the possibility of eliminating this residual amount is offered by paying an additional fee. Please check at the counter at the time of rental. Personal Accident Insurance: -PAI (Personal Accident Insurance) Personal Accident Insurance provides coverage for medical expenses incurred as a result of injuries suffered; and/or a lump sum payment in the form of compensation in the event of disability or death as a result of a collision or traffic accident. -Super Personal Accident Insurance In some countries, the level of PAI coverage can be increased by subscribing to additional insurance (“SUPER PAI”), which also includes coverage for loss or damage to luggage and/or personal effects (“PEC”). Young Driver Insurance: In some countries, drivers under 26 years of age must take out specific insurance that increases their coverage. Additional Drivers: All potential drivers must be included in the rental contract in order to benefit from Autoturistica’s insurance and protections. If they are not added to the contract, the insurance will not be applicable.
No, mileage is limited and will depend on the company and the number of days contracted. In order to determine the mileage limits, you will have to start the reservation process. If you exceed the contracted limits, the rental company will charge an additional cost per kilometer traveled. The amount depends mainly on the type of vehicle selected.
The rules to be applied regarding refueling the vehicle depend on the rental country and the type of product chosen. Please carefully review the rules applicable to each of your rentals. Normally, cars are delivered with a full tank. When returning the car, there may be 3 situations: 1. Returning the car with the same fuel level: -The car is delivered with the tank with a certain fuel level, which is indicated in the Rental Contract. The car must be returned with the same fuel level. In this case, the customer does not pay anything for Refueling or Fuel Service. Please note that proof of fuel purchase (gas station receipt) may be requested. 2. Returning the car with a different fuel level than that indicated at the start of the rental (Refueling Charge): -If you have not contracted the Fuel Purchase (Full Tank) option and you do not return the car with the same fuel level as at the start of the rental, the amount of the missing fuel will be charged in addition to the Refueling Service. 3. Fuel Purchase (Full Tank): -When you pick up the vehicle you have the option to pay for the cost of a full tank of fuel. The price depends on the category of the vehicle. In this case, you must return the car with the tank at any fuel level. No fuel charge will be made, but the amount of unused fuel will not be refunded either.
Yes, a vehicle can be collected outside of office hours if this has been previously agreed upon in the contract. This may incur an additional charge. In the case of returns, this can only be done when there is a drop box at the office or if this has been previously agreed upon in the contract.
In order to pick up your rental car, you must present the booking confirmation voucher that we sent you by email, your valid driving license (international driving license if applicable), your ID or passport and your credit card.
Yes, you should check that the vehicle condition report accurately reflects the current condition of the vehicle. If you find a new defect that is not noted in the report, you should report it to the delivery agent and examine the vehicle to update the condition reflected in the rental agreement.
You can request the invoice 48 hours after returning the vehicle. You must send an email to info@autoturistica.com with the tax information and we will send you the corresponding invoice.

Rental conditions:

To cancel your reservation, simply contact Autoturística by email. You can cancel your reservation up to 72 hours before the vehicle is collected at no cost. After this period, charges may be applied for “Cancellation Fees”.
If you have picked up the vehicle and want to extend the duration of the rental period, you must contact the office where you picked up the vehicle. If you have not yet picked up the vehicle, you can modify or cancel the reservation by contacting Autoturística through any of the means mentioned above. If the location, date or time of the rental is modified, there may be changes in the rates, taxes, surcharges or young driver fees for the rental.
Extending the rental is possible, however, you must contact the pick-up office for approval. An additional dedicated fee will be charged.
All drivers must be at least 21 years old and 22 for the Canary Islands, with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience (2 years’ experience for the Canary Islands). Only drivers over 25 years old may rent large MPVs, premium vehicles, 4x4s or vans. “Young Driver” rates may be included in the contract.
Yes, we accept all major debit cards except Maestro, Electron, Solo and prepaid cards. In the case of 4×4 and premium vehicles it will be necessary to provide a credit card. All cards must be in the name of the main driver. Debit cards will be accepted depending on the rental country where you pick up the vehicle. At Autoturistica we can only insure one category of car, not including the model or brand. Rental companies have a wide variety of vehicles, so they depend on the daily availability of each of their centres.
In order to ensure a safe experience and comply with legal requirements, we announce that from now on it will be necessary to present a valid International Driving License to be able to pick up your vehicle if you do not have a driving license from the countries that make up the European Union.

The conditions for crossing the border with the vehicle may vary depending on the rental company, the vehicle category and the countries you wish to travel to. Please consult the General Rental Conditions pages.

In all cases, you MUST inform the counter of your intention to leave Spain with the vehicle, as this requires the insurance to be arranged in accordance with your travel plans.

In the event of a breakdown or accident, you must call the telephone numbers or contacts provided when you pick up the vehicle. Assistance operates 24 hours a day. Please read carefully the rental conditions and instructions provided when you pick up the vehicle.
Depending on the lessor, generally only the days in which the vehicle has been used are billed. Once it has been returned, you must request a refund for the unused days. The corresponding amount will only be refunded if the lessor does not bill for the unused days. In that case, we will proceed to refund the money.
Good news! As a general rule, there is a 29-minute grace period for daily rentals. If the vehicle is returned outside of this period, a daily rental fee will be charged. Note: Vehicles returned outside of office hours will not be inspected until the next business day. If you return your vehicle outside of office hours when the office is closed, you will be responsible for the vehicle until the rental vehicle is successfully inspected on the next business day.
