Mehari turns 45!
The Citroen Mehari just turned 45 years old. From 1968 to 1988, 144953 units of this all terrain were produced. It was built on the chassis of the Citroen Dyane 6 with a light plastic construction and canvas roof. In the years 1980 till 1983 they modified it to a all-wheel drive which gave more off-road reliability.

A door-less vehicle very popular in the developing countries and in the coast lines. Reliable it develops up to 125 km/h with a 602cc 2 cylinder engine for a car weight of 570 kg.
