In March 2013, the famous and emblematic Hotel Carrasco in Montevideo will re-open its doors after 15 years.

The newly renovated Sofitel Montevideo Casino Carrasco & Spa will occupy one of the most valuable and historical buildings in the country facing Río de la Plata and surrounded by the best neighborhood. It will offer 93 rooms and 23 suites, So Spa, casino, restaurant, bar, library and coffee shop. All rooms decorated with a mix of French and local style with panoramic views over Río de la Plata, la Rambla, la playa Carrasco or the Country barrial gardens.

During renovation works all efforts were made to keep the original feel and look of the building inside and outside. The restaurant located at the entrance of the hotel is a good example.
