During summer in Madrid it is really nice to enjoy food and drinks on a terrace and if the terrace is a rooftop terrace than you can add amazing views and that’s exactly what an institution like the «Círculo de Bellas Artes» had in mind when they asked Cuarto Interior to design this incredible rooftop terrace with restaurant.

Tartan Roof as it is called offers different areas, we particularly liked the lounge area with sheltered sun beds and beautiful cushions. The restaurant serves great international food from the Chef  Javier Muñoz-Calero, a young professional trained with famous Chef Carme Ruscalleda and a little menu is also available to have in your sun bed! Prices are fair and the views over Madrid are truly amazing.

If you can’t make it this summer, don’t worry … they plan to transform it into Tartan Lodge this coming winter adding glass panels. Winter name, winter menu and winter settings but still the amazing views!
