The Gritti Palace was originally built by the Pisani family in 1475, after that it became the private residence of the Doge of Venice, Andrea Gritti in 1525. In the following centuries it was home to other noble families and it became a hotel in 1895. In 1947 it was bought by the «Compagnia Italiana dei Grandi Alberghi» and later became the first Luxury Collection by Starwood hotel.

It now offers 61 luxurious guest rooms and 21 suites with attentive service, delectable culinary experience and an amazing Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Spa.

Definitely my first choice next time I visit Venice!
