Hapuku Luxury Eco-lodge
Hapuku Lodge and Tree Houses offer luxury and controlled impact on the environment. The lodge was built in 1995 between the Kaikoura Seaward Mountain Range and the Mangamaunu Bay. All suites and tree houses were designed to blend with the natural surroundings and they all offer amazing views. Furniture throughout the lodge was handcrafted locally and custom designed beds are said to be «the most comfortable beds in the South Island».
4 guest rooms are available in the Main Lodge with views over the pool and the Kaikoura Mountain Range. A full house is also available, the Olive House Suite, a spacious apartment with kitchen, fireplace, open-plan bathroom with a spa tub and rain fountain shower and a stunning 360º view of the olive grove, the Pacific coastline and the Kaikoura Mountain Range.
The 5 tree houses are nestled in the canopy of a native Manuka grove 10 meters above the ground and boast large windows that bring the trees right into your room! Amazing views from the Pacific coastline and Kaikoura’s mountains.
The lodge offers breakfast and dinner using local fresh produce. A sauna and lap pool are also available.
