The Oitavos is a beautiful hotel of 142 guest rooms located in the Atlantic coast of Lisbon, in Cascais. It is only 30 minutes drive away from Lisbon and its international airport.

Standard rooms are really spacious, corner rooms even more. They have private balconies with panoramic views of the golf course and the ocean. There is a lounge area on each balcony, all needed amenities in the room, Wi-Fi, Shower and Bath, sofa, plasma TV, Ipod/Iphone doc, king size beds etc …. Breakfast is really good and there are different food & beverage outlets to choose from for lunch and dinner all really good as well.

An entire collection of sculptural and painted works of art lies inside the hotel. The basement (entrance) is an open space with different areas, reception, open kitchen, restaurants, shops, library, tv room, game room, lounge, bar etc … Window doors on both sides overlooking the gardens, the ocean and the golf course. At the end, the terrace overlooking the outside pool and again the golf course and the ocean.

There is a beautiful spa, views from the Turkish bath and the Sauna are so relaxing. The outside pool as shown on the picture with salted water has stunning views too.

Cascais is a quiet but vibrant little town worth the visit. The Oitavos golf course was home of professional tournaments and a good course to play. Other golf courses are available in the area too. Bikes can be rented from the hotel to explore the surrounding areas up to Cascais.
