Antelope Canyon, Arizona

Located just outside Page, Arizona, in the Navajo Nation, the Antelope Canyon is one of the most photographed places. The name comes from an era when Antelopes ran wild in the canyons. Water erosion has created deep, gorgeous passageways called slot canyons you can now walk through.

The Upper Antelope Canyon is known as the Corkscrew, it is 185 meters long, easy to access and his walls can reach 40 meters. The Lower Antelope is known as the Crack, it is not as easy to access and requires walking up and down metal stairways.

Both canyons have long been considered spiritual places by the Navajo. To visit the site it is compulsory to go with a guide, for more information please visit: www.navajonationparks.org and if you need to rent a car please check our latest offers on www.autoturistica.com
